We all desperately want control of our lives and have a difficult time saying to God “May it be to me as you have said.” But if you will take whatever tiny amount of trust you can find and give God a chance, you will have taken a big step toward what He has in store for you. Isaiah 28:16 says, “So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: ‘See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who trusts will never be dismayed.'” And Jesus says in John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.”
